The Cooper
This local favorite is known for exquisite “Americana” cuisine and unique craft cocktails. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic night out with someone special, whether you’re sharing an intimate art-deco booth or sitting bar side with appetizers and drinks. My personal favorite dish is the soy-ginger glazed salmon. It’s the one thing on the menu that I like too much to share with my own partner! I simply had to put this local favorite as my number one date night suggestion because it was the very place where I shared many dates laughing alongside my partner before we made the choice to commit to each other.
Clay Haus
Clay Haus, a local pottery studio in the heart of Downtown Palm Beach Gardens, has the perfect date night for lovers of Patrick Swayze in Ghost! This amazing little shop not only offers regular “try it nights” for individuals to try their hand at the pottery wheel, but they also offer specialized “Clay Dates” for couples to learn this art form together the first Saturday of every month.
The Melting Pot
This pick is a classic date night special, with specially designed two-person date night booths and delicious courses of cheese, meat, and chocolate, how can you go wrong? Did I mention that Thursdays at the Melting Pot are “ThursDate” nights? That’s right, if you and your better half decide to enjoy a night of fondue goodness on a Thursday your table will be candle lit and covered in rose petals when you arrive to set the perfect mood for romance. Melted chocolate AND rose petals? It doesn’t get more romantic than that.
The Escape South Florida
If you and your spouse are competitive and clever, then check out The Escape South Florida and complete one of the multiple escape games offered at this Palm Beach Gardens location. Escape from a deranged kidnapper, solve riddles with Alice in Wonderland, or dive into “The Upside Down” like the cast of Netflix’s Stranger Things, and do it all with your loved one!
Voodoo Bayou
This awesome local spot is known for its Cajun-themed cuisine. The uniqueness of its beautiful decor and design is matched only by its five-star menu. This is the perfect place to try some adventurous new dishes like their gator hotdog (yes, you read that right) or their infamous aphrodisiac oysters. And definitely don’t leave without having their straight-from-Nola beignets!
John D. MacArthur Beach State Park
Experience all of the beauty and wildlife our state has to offer at this beloved state park. If you and your partner are more excited by activities in the outdoors, then this is the perfect place to get into some kayaking, body surfing, birding, and snorkeling. Let the beautiful wildlife and mesmerizing waves lull you as you spend the day side by side.
Waterway Cafe
Speaking of waves, Waterway Cafe is another local favorite that’s perfect for beach lovers and food lovers alike. This delicious spot is conveniently located squarely on the intracoastal, the perfect setting for a breezy night out. This place is known for its seafood dishes, but as a dessert lover myself, you absolutely can’t miss the decadent Snickers Explosion, so leave room for dessert!
The Spa at PGA National
If you and your love are in need of some unwinding and relaxation, then the award-winning spa at the PGA National Resort is most definitely the date night spot for you. Unwind with a classic facial or a romantic couple’s massage. This luxurious spa will make sure that you and your partner leave well-rested and reconnected.
The Tasting Room at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant
Cooper’s Hawk at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall is well known for its handcrafted wines.
